Subject: [FAQ] Webtrance

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Moderators of Media gone far beyond the grasp of modernity and into the
zone of the unknown, hear me, o renderers of holographic memory transfer
and neural text, the alt.webtrance newsgroup has been activated some
light years ago with interesting x-posted threads which tie usenet
together in some inexplicable way, binding the solitary surfers of
fractal reality into photons of change from numb, lame flyers of brick
walls...,
pixel weavers and makers of song, come along?
Discussions on the Webtrance Memetic Effect
:alt.webtrance Charter:
"the basic concept of the Webtrance meme involves netizens from all over
the world simultaneously focusing into a mass computer generated trance;
thus participating in humanity's digital reincarnation. If critical mass
is reached, maybe our entire species will be bumped up in brain
potential through a change in our morphogenetic field and then it wont
matter if you're logged on or not. To me it feels like this has already
begun."
And this is different to the late night, green lit faced, bleery eyed, web
induced stupor than normal?
How will we tell the difference between the usual mundane net zombification
and this wonderfull mind expanding trance?
In that case I think I'll just go down the pub as planned, but I'll know
that if my mind starts expanding and I feel a wonderful sense of euphoria,
that when I tell the stranger next to me at the bar that I love them, that
it is indeed nothing to do with the copious amounts Stella, Bass best,
Scotch, and or tequila but is in fact due to the critical mass of nonsense
you're spewing at us with this.
